Disengagements

  1. gas press, brake press, button press shall immediately disengage openpilot
  2. seatbelt unlatched, door open, esp-disabled shall disengage openpilot, eventually after a few seconds timeout

Actuator limits

  1. command full brake allowed by openpilot and make sure the car remains controllable with vehicle deceleration no greater than 5m/s^2
  2. command full steer allowed by openpilot and make sure the car remains controllable and that the driver as at least 1s before having to take control of the car (need to be tested at different speeds)
  3. command full throttle allowed by openpilot and make sure the car remains controllable with vehicle acceleration no greater than 2m/s^2

Miscellaneous behavior

  1. car should display no warning alerts due to openpilot
  2. cabana link of a drive where openpilot remains ebgaged for few minutes (with events of braking and HWY steering), possibly plus video showing the steering wheel and the road.
  3. the awareness status shall be reset every time the driver applies manual torque to the steering wheel or he changes set speed
  4. verify that all the signal defined in the dbc file are correct
